Integrative Counsellor
I've been a qualified Integrative BACP (British Association of Counsellors and Psychotherapists) Counsellor since 2019. My Integrative training allows me to draw from Person-Centred Therapy, Gestalt Therapy, Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, Psychodynamic Therapy, Somatic (Body work) therapy, Attachment Theory, Mindfulness, Polyvagal Theory and art-based approaches. This background allows me to tailor my work to suit each individual. My training incorporated working with all ages, latterly with a specialism in working with children. Now I equally adore my private work with adults and my subsequent Continued Professional Development has largely focused on this area. Seeing the difference it makes to people's lives when I help them navigate childhood traumas, triggers and ingrained self-beliefs makes me eager to help others enjoy more ease in their lives too. My Internal Family Systems and Mindful Self-Compassion training has added a new, powerful dimension to my work that I am am delighted to offer my clients if it appeals to them. I can offer a free 30 minute consultation if you're interested in seeing if we're a good fit for private therapy (online, telephone or face-to-face in SE23). You can contact me here. I'm afraid I don't currently offer private therapy for children but am always very happy to work in schools.
